Advanced Yogasana
Yogasana means doing different body postures in yoga that help keep the body fit and the mind relaxed. These postures are practiced slowly with proper breathing to improve overall health.
Practicing yogasana makes the body more flexible and strong. It helps you focus better and brings calmness to the mind. Yogasana also supports good digestion, breathing, and blood circulation. Regular practice reduces stress, anxiety, and tiredness, and helps maintain balance in both body and mind.
There are many types of yogasanas. Some are done while standing, such as Tadasana where you stand straight like a mountain, Vrikshasana where you balance on one leg like a tree, and Trikonasana which stretches the body in a triangle shape. Some asanas are done while sitting, like Padmasana where you sit with crossed legs, Sukhasana which is a simple comfortable sitting pose, and Vajrasana where you sit on your knees.
Other yogasanas are practiced while lying down. Some are done on the back, such as Bhujangasana where the chest is lifted like a cobra, Setu Bandhasana which forms a bridge shape with the body, and Shavasana where you lie still to relax the entire body. Some asanas are done lying on the stomach, like Dhanurasana where the body bends like a bow, and Makarasana which helps relax the back.
There are also balancing postures, such as Garudasana where the body twists and balances like an eagle, and Natarajasana where you balance on one leg while stretching the other like a dancer. These postures help improve balance, focus, and body control.
